Water
Plain water contains no histamine and is completely neutral from a histamine sensitivity standpoint.
There's nothing in plain water that contributes to histamine load or interferes with how your body processes it.
-
Zero histamine content — water doesn't contain histamine, doesn't act as a histamine liberator, and doesn't block the enzymes involved in breaking histamine down
-
Still vs. sparkling — both are equally low histamine; the difference only comes into play with added flavorings or minerals in some sparkling varieties
When in doubt about a beverage, plain water is the most reliably neutral choice.
