Pear nectar

Low histamine

Like pear juice, pear nectar is made from one of the most histamine-friendly fruits and tends to be very well-tolerated.

Pear nectar contains pear pulp alongside juice, but the histamine profile of the fruit remains the same — low and generally unproblematic.

  • Pulp vs. clear juice — the inclusion of fruit pulp in nectar doesn't meaningfully change the histamine picture for pear specifically

  • Added ingredients — as with other commercial nectars, it's worth a quick check for citric acid or other additives that some sensitive people prefer to minimise

For most people watching histamine, pear nectar is one of the more relaxed choices on the juice shelf.
