Mango nectar

Low histamine

Mango is a low-histamine fruit, and mango nectar made from fresh mango pulp is generally considered well-tolerated.

Mango nectar is essentially diluted mango pulp — the fruit itself is low in histamine and not typically associated with triggering histamine release.

  • Mango vs. citrus — unlike orange or pineapple juice, mango-based drinks don't carry the same histamine-liberating reputation, which makes them a friendlier juice option

  • Added ingredients — commercial nectars sometimes include citric acid or other additives that could be worth checking if you're highly sensitive

Freshly made or short-ingredient versions tend to be the most predictable choice.
