Sunflower oil (high oleic)

Low histamine

A more stable version of sunflower oil with no known histamine content and better resistance to oxidation.

High-oleic sunflower oil is bred to have a fatty acid profile closer to olive oil, making it significantly more shelf-stable.

  • Better for cooking — the higher oleic acid content means it holds up to heat much better than standard sunflower oil, with less oxidation

  • Same clean histamine profile — like regular sunflower oil, the high-oleic version has no known histamine content or triggering properties

It's often considered the more practical version for everyday cooking.
