How to lower the risk

If you make flatbread at home, an unleavened dough of just flour, water, oil, and salt, rolled thin and cooked on a hot pan, sidesteps the yeast-and-yogurt issue entirely and can be eaten fresh off the heat. When ordering out, a plain roti or chapati is usually the lower-fermentation option next to naan, and rice is a reliable fallback. Eat bread the day it's made rather than storing and reheating.
